Will this config work for a video wall?

Video wall will be 7680W x 2160H (4 wide x 2 high 1080p displays).

Looking at a quote for:

Processor(s) Intel® Core i9-10900X Processor (3.70GHz) 10 Core
System Memory 64GB DDR4-2933 MHz (4 - 16GB DIMMS)
Storage 1.0TB SSD M.2 PCIe Drive
Expansion Card Slot(s) NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000 8GB SYNC
NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000 8GB

The idea is to interact with a touch kiosk running one instance of Player (maybe a single 4K touch display?) that choses videos to play on the video wall. You won’t actually touch the wall. The video wall will display branding and videos across the 8 displays as one 7680x2160 image.

This would work, but surely you would need x2 RTX 4000 with a sync card? for 8 screens in total.

But the RTX Quadro P4000 i would say is overkill, we have found out that the CPU is the main factor with Intuiface you should be able to get away with the normal Quadro P4000

Kind Regards

Thanks Louie, there are x2 video cards in that quote. 2 more questions:

  1. Can you speak to the reasoning for needing more CPU?

  2. If the displays are capable of daisy chaining and forming a single 4K image across 4 HD screens, could this be driven with just 2 4K outputs from a single card? Does this have the ability to stay in sync as a single image?

Appreciate your input.
