Unlike a standard button, toggle buttons no longer fill the item frame when they are expanded beyond 600 px. This may not be a common issue, but when the toggle button is lined up next to a similar sized asset it is noticeably out of alignment.

Thanks for reporting this bug. This is effectively a use case we probably have never tested with huge toggle buttons. I reported to the product team.
