Timing and Animation - Reverse at End

‘Reverse at End’ becomes set when you change the Frequency to any items other than ‘One Time’. You can toggle the checkbox for ‘Reverse at End’ on and off, but the symbol indicating that Reverse at End is enabled will show up in the Timeline either way, and the animation reverses at the end even if the checkbox is off.

Am I doing something wrong, and if so, how may I correct it?
