Snapshot from third party Windows applications

Project & scene are set to transparent background

I am using the Launch Application action to run third party Windows application

When I try to get a snapshot the result is a black background; is there a way to get the snapshot including the third party windows application?

Hi @mauricio,

This is the “normal” behavior since all snapshots are made within the IntuiFace frame without accessing any system ressource.

To be able to do a “system screenshot”, you could

• use a command line tool such as Nirsoft (ex: nircmd.exe savescreenshot “c:\temp\shot.png”) with the Launch application action.
• create your own Interface Asset, probably in .NET, to achieve a similar system behavior
