Wondering if it is just the laptop I am on or if anyone else if having to wait forever to test out presentation edits. Takes several minutes after hitting “play” in composer before I can mess around with my project.

It could be related to your laptop or to your experience / structure of the scene you’re loading when hitting play.
But no, it should not take several minutes at all, but something closer to a few seconds.
I’d recommend you to contact our support team and share your PC specs / your Intuiface experience with them there.
