I have an experience that runs just fine locally, but when I deploy it and check it over remote desktop, the audio file control that is on each scene displays the loading image icon (spinning arcs) and won’t go away. I’ve even gone in to each scene and turned off “Display loading images” for the group that the audio control is inside of, but it’s still doing it.
All other images in every scene are loading without issue. Only the audio player in every scene is showing the loading image icon.
Has anyone run into this before, and if so, how did you remedy it?
Do you only have this issue when using remote desktop to view the Player or does it happen in person as well.
When viewing a Player via remote methods it is possible to not get an accurate representation of what is acctually happening.
If the issue is happening in person, then I would suggest you reach out to use via support and we will ask you to share the experience with us so we can test on our end.
That’s correct; only when using remote desktop. It does not occur on my desktop PC. I’m getting ready to try pushing a new save (different name) via publish and deploy and see if that changes anything. If not, I will share the experience with support. Thank you!
I opened an older version of the same experience and deployed it to the same target device and it’s showing the same loading image icon only on the audio players in each scene. I’ve never had an issue repeat between different deployed experiences on the same target device before, and all my target devices on-site are identical though they are running different experiences.
I have shared this experience with xp-for-support as writer status and closed the experience locally.
I have tested your experience and I am unable to replicate the issue.
Could you please open a support ticket with us so we can go over the specifics of what could be causing this. When you submit the ticket let us know if the issue only happens when you remote into the device or does it happen when in person with the device.
First I uninstalled Player Classic on the target device and reinstalled it, but the issue persisted.
So now I’ve installed Player 8 on the target device and that has alleviated the issue, BUT the audio player asset looks really odd now, like it’s using Times New Roman as the font and the audio player box appears masked into a smaller area that has clipped the top of it off. Is there a way to make the audio player asset appear as it does in Player Classic?
