Is there a way to print the photos instead of just the emails?

Yes this can be done with a folder monitor software which takes a photo from a folder using the “Share Via File system IA” and then this will be able to be printed via the printer.

adding to Louie’s comment you will need a printer software that prints automatically from that folder, whenever it detects new content added

Foldermill is your safest bet.
