How to retrieve day of year as a numerical value?

From the clock, I can extract month as a number and day of the month as a number. I’d like to be able to store the day of the year in a global variable for usage in the XP. I know multiplying the 2 is not an exact way to get day of the year. Anyone have any ideas?

I figured a work around for this…
Create an excel asset with a month column, date column and day of the year column.
From the clock asset, filter excel asset for month and day value and then assign the day of the year column to a global variable.

A little long winded but at least I can keep on working thru the XP
