How would I go about changing the from name that is used when sending emails via the Hosted Asset. currently my user name shows up in the inbox of the recipient.

That’s a limitation of the Share via Email - Hosted. It uses the name of the IntuiFace license account.
To change the “from name”, you need to switch to the Share via Email - Configurable.
Or even still, Just change the name of your Username. That works.
