I’ve been working with excel sheets to build a collection of images and videos and have them display in a pinboard style collection on the screen. With numerous portfolios of collections for individuals listed in the excel sheet, it becomes quite tiresome to manually edit these url’s for images and videos each time.
My suggestion would be to allow sub templates for media assets within pinboards and collections alike… then instruct specific pinboards to retrieve it’s content from a folder on the system running the presentation. This way, there would be no need to enter a line within the excel sheet for each asset, just specify a folder to look for assets.
