Before I spend too much more time trying to figure this out, has anyone created a Drag and Drop Quiz, similar to what you would see in Learning Management Systems? Basically, I am thinking about a situation that when someone would drop four+ text boxes in the correct/respective locations (with snap in), it would trigger a new scene. I saw where someone was requesting help to develop this back in 2018. I am hoping that this would be a bit easier now. I see the drag and drop, just not so sure about having several working together to trigger the new scene.
Thanks for any experience.
Hi Ron,
We donât have a specific drag & drop quiz example, but the closest I can think of would be our Jigsaw Puzzle Sample.
Replace puzzle parts with your text boxes and change the drop zones so they match your graphic design.
Note this Jigsaw uses the following logic
- If you drop an item on a wrong position, it wonât stick to it
- When you drop an item on a correct position, it will stick to it and wonât be movable anymore.
In case of a Quiz, that means that you can âonly get correct answersâ.
Depending on the logic required for your quiz, you might need to change several triggers & actions to accommodate your needs.
Hi Ron,
I created some drag and drop portions of a larger quiz some time ago.
You can see the different modules that lead up to it, or skip to the 45 sec mark to see the âmultiâ drag and drop selection: Dropbox
I think I have the âmultiâ drag and drop part saved as a design accelerator and I could probably share it if itâs helpful to you.
