Different "config" per player

Hello,

We have a requirement to send player specific configuration that we want to expose to an interface asset.

We want to configure the “location” of the the experience running on the player, so our IA’s can send this location to our backend.

Example Use Case:

User enters their booking ref at a self checking point, our IA sends the reference and the “location” to the back end. The backend response can then direct the user to correct location for their booking.

Currently I was planning on using CMS, licences and variants to do this, but as it seems harder than it needs to be, so I wandered if there were any other way to give a particular player some data?

Hi Liam @lalford,

I think using Player Tags and the System Info Interface Asset would be the best option for you.

Have a look at this article and let us know if that answers your needs: https://support.intuiface.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015520079-Manage-experience-content-using-Player-tags

@Seb Yes, I think that will reduce the configuration complexity.

Thanks
