" Provide ability to pass in parameters to presentations that can be used in URLs and external program launches.
For example a presentation is installed in multiple locations. It retrieves information specific to its installation on the web. Straightforward way is to add a parameter to the URL call. But the only way I know to do this is to edit and deploy each installation separately. "
