You could create an asset grid/flow with individual images with triggers on each image to go to a specific scene.
But this would need to be images directly imported to the asset grid/flow rather than from a data set.
So the answer is YES!

I was able to replicate the slide show effect by setting an inactivity timer on the asset grid, so it acts just like the slide show in appearance but has “triggerable slides”. Thanks, Louie!
