Hi, we just got ourselves an iBeacon this one

The configure app is in chinese, we managed to get the beacon configured bu could not test it with the Beacon sample, can someone please help with the settings, what is the Major, Minor, distance settings, etc in layman terms.
Initially the beacon has the Major and Minor set to 0, i changed those values in the config app, however, when intuiface detects it, it shows something different. Also, cannot figure out the long and short distances.
We urgently need to get this working to demo to a client.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
