Anyone used a Microsoft Surface Pro 11 with Player 8 yet?

I’d like to recommend this to a client who is having issues with her app running on a Windows touchscreen laptop (11th gen i7 CPU with Iris Xe GPU) and I’m hoping this is an improvement. Does anyone have any positive experiences with this or any other Windows tablets?

Hi Cullen,

It might be better for you to contact our support team and provide more information about the issues your currently faces, in addition to the current hardware they use.

Generally speaking, yes, Microsoft Surface Pro are good devices, but it depends for what use case / context.
They are still “consumer grade devices”, not meant to run 24/7 as a kiosk, for example.

Thanks, Seb. I have just submitted a ticket. The intended use of this experience is a lead retrieval app to be used at trade shows. This app has worked flawlessly at 10 shows and has worked really well after updates from the client for each show. We were running the app on Samsung Galaxy Tab Ultra 14.6 tablets, but with this recent version of the app, the experience is going haywire and doing all kinds of things that the PC desktop version isn’t doing. I switched to a brand new Microsoft device running Windows in an effort to alleviate these issues, but some of them remained, so I’ve been playing a game of “whack-a-mole” adding in new triggers and actions to reverse the behaviors that are only happening on the tablets. I’ve got them mostly fixed, but we are not receiving emails at all for some unknown reason.
