I have an ellipse that is being dragged up and down vertically. Is there anyway I can remove the kinetic scrolling/accelerometer effect when scrolled?

That’s a property on the “collection” that contains your ellipse: Soft move linear speed. It can either be the scene itself or a Pinboard collection.
Be careful, when you change this property – set it to 0 for no inertia at all – you will affect all the objects with a free container in this “collection” (or scene).
