Clock Time Zone binding

I’m looking to change the time zone property of the Clock interface asset dynamically. I can’t seem to figure out what needs to be passed into this property. Is it the entire string? Or the GMT offset? Thanks for any help!

Hi,

The value you see on the IA’s property is the name we have given for the timezone it is not its actual value. You can see the actual value of the timezone by creating a simple binding on the “Time zone” property of the InterfaceAsset.

I have attached for you a list of the time-zone values we have used in this IA. You can use this list to dynamically change the time-zone setting using the “value” string.

For example: “America/New_York” will return GMT-5:00 time zone. I hope this helps.
